SAFETY RULES FOR YOUR KITTEN
1. Kitten must not go outside
2. Keep floors clear of small items that could injure or choke a small animal
3. Keep string, rubber bands, thread and tinsel away from kitten. These things can do serious or fatal intestinal damage.
4. Keep poisons in tightly closed containers and closed cabinets. This includes anti-freeze, insecticides, paint thinner, cleaning supplies.
5. Do not give kitten chocolate.
6. Cover electrical outlets.
7. Cover open drains.
8. Keep kitten away from surfaces cleaned with strong disinfectants such as chlorine. They can burn the kittens paw pads; irritate its nasal passages and eyes.
9. When traveling always transport kitten in a carrier with a secure door.
10. These are a sturdy breed but like all living things can be injured by falls or being stepped on. Remember they want to be with you and will turn up under your feet when you least expect.
11. Toys that dangle from strings can strangle a kitten. Also drapery cords and blind pull could loop around our necks and legs.
12. Always check dresser drawers, cloths dryers, and dish washers before closing. We love dark, warm places and could get trapped.
13. Many plants are poisonous or give us upset tummies.
14. Keep toilet lids closed. Small kittens can jump up on the toilet seat & if the lid isn't closed, fall into the bowl and drown.
15. If you think of any other safety hazards that I have missed please e-mail me Carol@RagDollsOnline.net or
leave a message in my guest book on my web page www.ragdollsonline.net
Thank you
